Academy Of Music

A center for the arts in Powell River, the Powell River Academy of Music is also home to the Symphony Orchestra Academy of the Pacific and the International Choral Kathaumixw Festival. The facilities include the Academy Concert Hall, rehearsal rooms, teaching and practice studios, recording studio and administration offices.

 

 

Evergreen Theatre

An important part of Powell River's Recreation Comples, the 800 seat Evergreen Theatre is the concert hall for the Symphony Orchestra Academy of the Pacific. Winthin this facility, the 3000 seat 'Great Hall' accommodates the gala concerts of the International Choral Kathaumixw Festival. The "Complex" also offers recreation opportunities including swimming, filness center, sauna and weight room.

Great Hall

With a seating capacity of 3000, the Great Hall is the venue for the Gala Concerts of the Internation choral Kathaumixw. The SOAP Orchestra will perform at this popular festival for a capacity audience.

This full service hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city near
shopping, restaurants and festival venues. During the festival the hotel is home for the distinguished faculty of the Symphony Orchestra Academy of the Pacific.
