Arranging a Planned Gift supports the future of SOAP and can provide financial benefits to donors and their families. Setting up a planned gift is easy, and development professionals at SOAP can help tailor a plan to meet your specific financial and philanthropic needs.

Many things are possible with a planned gift to SOAP. A planned gift can provide you with income for life through gift annuities or charitable trusts or you can name SOAP in your will. You may be interested in endowing a faculty chair for SOAP, naming a performance each year in perpetuity for a loved one, funding a new commission or myriad other ideas.

Life Income Gifts
Certain planned gifts give income to the donor and acknowledgement for the gift while the donor is alive. These planned gifts are charitable gift annuities, pooled income funds, and certain charitable trusts.

Your Will
It's easy to make a bequest to SOAP. Every gift makes a difference - no amount is too small. Please contact us if you would like specific language to use to remember SOAP in your will.

Putting Stock in SOAP
Funding a special planned gift with appreciated securities is a smart way to set up a trust, a charitable gift annuity, and a pooled income fund. Your contribution of stock usually gives you a considerable charitable tax deduction, which is a double bonus for a life income gift. For specific instructions on how to give gifts of stock, please contact the Director of Planned Giving (below).
