Capital Giving 

Gifts to the Symphony Orchestra Academy of the Pacific’s endowment build a stable and secure financial foundation. Capital gifts ensure that concert spaces are maintained and renovated when necessary, expensive instruments may be purchased and that enhanced audience services can be added. Capital gifts also provide the funds needed to maintain and improve the Symphony Orchestra Academy of the Pacific’s facilities in Powell River. SOAP administrative offices, orchestra rehearsal space, and student services housed at the Powell River Academy of Music, 7280 Kemano Street, Powell River, BC, Canada. The Symphony Orchestra of the Pacific performs in the Evergreen Theatre. 

Endowment 

Income from the SOAP endowment fund helps maintain reasonable tuition fees and allows us to make concerts more accessible to the public. SOAP endowment opportunities include supporting scholarship funds, educational programs, guest artist positions, special concerts and international faculty chairs.
