The Symphony Orchestra Academy of the Pacific relies on financial support from its audiences, patrons, corporate sponsors as well as governments and foundations. This support ensures the availability of orchestral training, the finest orchestral music and community outreach programs. Each year, earned revenue covers only 60 percent of the costs of SOAP; gifts from generous donors like you make up the balance. SOAP has developed a broad range of giving opportunities to fit individual needs. Donating to the Symphony Orchestra Academy of the Pacific fills an important philanthropic need, offers tax and financial benefits, and entitles the donor to exclusive privileges.

Donors who give $200 and more become Friends of SOAP. Those who give $1000 and more become Patrons of SOAP. Gifts from our Friends and Patrons help support SOAP’s exceptional programs including the Symphony Concerts, student scholarships, open rehearsals, the international faculty and guest artists, public school music education programs, chamber music concerts and free community concerts.
